The Columbia
Slough Watershed Council oversees 40,000 acres of watershed,
the watershed itself contains 24,000 homes, 4,500 businesses,
and is home to 1/10 of all the jobs in Oregon. The organization
does more than help plan a few events once in a while.
The Columbia Slough is driven by their ability to reach
out to businesses, government agencies, and local communities.
However, the organization's website and brand were outdated.
Phone calls and paper driven volunteer management was slowing daily process.
Additionally, the brand and message delivery systems prohibited staff from effectively
communicating with potential donors, members, and volunteers in a professional
format.
The CSWC turned to Ecofusion to deliver a multi tiered approach to redeveloping
the organizations website, email delivery system, and program and organization
branding.
Brand,
information architecture, and tools for communicating
about events and news all needed to be combined
to reach their diverse group of large businessess,
government agencies, and local citizens. After
a thorough assessment, Ecofusion planned and
executed a multi-tiered brand and message delivery
system that effectively enhanced the communications
between potential donors, members, and volunteers
via a new website.
With a multi-tiered approach to redeveloping their website, CSWC’s brand,
information architecture, and tools for communicating about events and news
were combined to reach their diverse group of large businesses, government
agencies, and local citizens. The result was a succinct and articulated message
that increased CSWC’s visibility and volunteership throughout Portland.
